Lesson Two  How to say. "How are you? " and " I'm fine, thank you. And you? " In Chinese?

"knee    how     mo ?" is the sound of Chinese, "How are you? " in English?

Teacher:            你   好   嗎?
(romanization)                ni  hau  mo

Student: 我   很    好,      謝       謝.       你   呢?
(romanization)    w   hen  hau     hsieh  hsieh       ni     ne

It sounds like 你好嗎? (knee  how  mo?)

How to say, "I love you." in Chinese?


"wall    eye     knee   "  is the sound of  "I love you ." in Chinese.

Of course, this is not the formal way to learn Chinese pronunciation, but it is the easier way to learn its sounds.

Romanization pronunciations: wu ai ni

我    愛    你    means I love you.

wu   ai     ni


First, "I" in Chinese sounds like "wall" in English.

Second, "love"in Chinese sounds like "eye" in English.

Third, "you" in Chinese sounds like "knee".

Therefore, we say ." I love you." in Chinese sounds like " wall eye knee".
